What are Telegram Stars?
Telegram Stars are Telegram's own in-app currency. They pay for digital goods and services inside Telegram: bots, mini apps, paid posts, subscriptions and gifts.
What you can do with Stars
- Pay for items and features in bots and mini apps
- Unlock paid photos and videos in channels
- Send Star reactions to support creators
- Pay for channel subscriptions
- Send Telegram gifts
How much Telegram Stars cost
Here every Star costs the same, $0.90 per 100 Stars: 5,000 Stars $45.00 and 10,000 Stars $90.00. You can buy any amount from 3,500 to 550,000.
Where Stars are kept
Stars sit in the account's Stars balance in Telegram Settings. Gifted Stars are added to that same balance and can be used right away.
Stars and Premium are different
Telegram Premium is a subscription that unlocks features for a period (from $8.00 for 3 months). Stars are a balance you spend. You can gift either one with only a username.
